* A recurring electronic transfer is made through ACH (Automated Clearing House) on a regular basis (i.e. weekly, monthly, quarterly). For Direct Deposits the amount and account can be distributed among more than one account.

* A Wire Transfer is made as a one-time transfer or on a regular basis (i.e. weekly, monthly, quarterly) for the same amount and to the same account or beneficiary.

Initial Set-Up

Transfers between your own Stand Bank Onlineaccounts, no advance set-up is required. Access this feature anytime on the "Transfers & Payments" page of online banking or within mobile banking under "Transfers".

For cross-account transfers please visit "Transfers & Payments" and click on the "Cross-Account Set-Up" button.

Advance set-up must be completed on the "Transfers" page of online banking. Click on "Add a New External Account". Once your trial deposits are confirmed (allow 2-4 days) you can begin to transfer funds to and from your Stand Bank Onlineaccount(s) and other financial institutions.

  • Use the Mortgage Payment Set-Up form to set-up payments to your Stand Bank Onlinemortgage from another institution. Please allow 10 business days for initial set-up after submitting your request.
  • Use the Automatic Transfer/Payment Set Up form to set-up transfers to your Stand Bank Onlineaccounts from another institution. Please allow 10 business days for initial set-up after submitting your request.
  • Use the Direct Deposit form to have funds delivered directly from your employer or benefactor into your Stand Bank Onlineaccount. Submit the form to your employer or organization that sends or deposits your pay.
  • To transfer funds from Stand Bank Onlineto another financial institution, refer to our External Account Transfers service available through online banking. You may also call (800) 632-4600, visit a branch, or send a secure message through online banking to obtain a copy of the form.

How to Transact

Make transfers to your other Stand Bank Onlineaccounts or make cross-account transfers (to other accounts at Provident) using the “Transfers & Payments” page within online banking or “Transfers” button in Mobile Banking. 

Once you set-up your external transfer account, you can make to and from payments/transfers using the “Transfers” page in online banking.

Mobile banking (iPhone & Android Apps): Click on the “Transfers” button (iPhone) or “Transfer Funds” (Android). Currently transfers can only be set up on your mobile device for same day. 

Designate transfer amounts on form. These amounts will be automatically transferred on the dates you specified on your form.

To make transfer changes, a new form will need to be completed. Please use our External Account Transfers service as an alternative self-serve method.

Complete form and designate transfer amounts. These amounts will automatically be transferred on the date(s) you specify on the form.

Self-serve feature not available within online banking or mobile banking.

How Long Will It Take?

Transfer occurs immediately. 

Transactions initiated before 12 P.M. PST will be sent on the same day and anything after 12 P.M. PST will be sent the following day. Transfers will not take place on weekends or major holidays.

•Incoming transfers: Allow 3-5 business days
•Outgoing transfers: Allow 2 business days
  • Transfers from an external account to a Stand Bank Onlineaccount will initially take up to 10 business days to set-up. 
  • Direct Deposit transfers can take up to 60 days depending on your employer or organization that sends or deposits your pay.
  • For external transfers (debits), it takes up to 10 business days to initially verify an external account for the first time. Once verified, transfers made from your Stand Bank Onlineaccount to your savings or checking at another financial institution will arrive within 2 business days. 

Recurring or scheduled transfers will be made to your Stand Bank Onlineor other financial institution account on your selected date.

Outgoing wires:  Both domestic and international wires must be received and verified by 12 P.M. PST to be processed the same day. A confirmation number will also be e-mailed to you upon successful completion of your wire. Typically, you will receive same day credit at the other financial institution.
